Partner's Healing & Empowerment Online Community
For Partners of Sex Addicts & Survivors of Betrayal Trauma
Confidential, Online Community + Information & Personalized Guidance from a Trauma and Addiction Specialist
If you're dealing with the impact of the discovery of sex addiction or intimate partner betrayal, you’re probably wondering:
Can my relationship survive addiction, or chronic betrayal?
Will I ever trust—him, her, anyone—again?
Am I crazy for thinking there’s something wrong with his (or her) behavior?
How can I get the right help and support I need with all the shame and stigma of being in a relationship with a sex addict?
Is it my fault that he (or she) was unfaithful?
Is it okay for me to ask for trust-building, relationship-restoring actions from my partner?
If you've asked yourself any—or most—of these questions, here's what I want you to know:
Having worked with betrayed partners for 10 years, I know that with information, guidance, and a community of support, partners can survive—and even thrive—after the devastating discovery of sex addiction or long-term, chronic betrayal.
Your relationship can survive. You can trust again. You're not crazy. It's not your fault.
And yes, you have a right to ask your partner for specific actions that will help rebuild trust and restore your relationship.
About Vicki (Partner's Healing & Empowerment Online Community Facilitator)
I'm Vicki Tidwell Palmer, author of Moving Beyond Betrayal: The 5-Step Boundary Solution for Partners of Sex Addicts. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
I love sharing my knowledge and expertise — as well as the experience and wisdom accumulated from 30+ years of my own healing and recovery journey — with people who are ready to learn, grow, and transform their lives.
My mission is to help partners move beyond betrayal into a life of clarity, power, and connection.
If you want to cross what may feel like a very deep divide between surviving and thriving, you must:
Unfortunately, partners sometimes make the mistake of believing that if their partner stops engaging in compulsive, relationship-destroying behaviors, all their problems will be solved.
Or, they make the mistake of asking for either too much or too little from the person who betrayed them—slowing down the process of healing and restoring their relationship.
And because of the stigma and shame surrounding sexual betrayal and addiction, partners of sex addicts and survivors of infidelity are extremely isolated.
You may (understandably) have chosen not to share your painful reality with anyone—even your closest friends and family members.
Most partners don't.
Community membership is ideal for partners who:
Are in the early stages of discovery or disclosure of chronic sexual betrayal, or who are further along in their healing process but want a place to connect, deepen their knowledge, and support other partners.
May have limited—or no—local access to a supportive community or a professional who is knowledgable and experienced in working with intimate partner betrayal and sex addiction.
Want expert guidance and information about how to cope after intimate partner betrayal.
Want to connect with other partners dealing with similar issues.
Want to take action toward their own healing and empowerment.
The Partner’s Healing & Empowerment Online Community is designed to help you navigate the painful—yet achievable—journey from trauma to trust.
